NORTHERN MAGIC
Inspired by pure nature and powered by Northern magic
Proud to be a Finn with “Sisu” and determination (Otsikko)
We come from an extreme land of ice and snow. Still, we have a long history in the fleet and offshore racing from Whitbread to Olympics. We know we got to do something different and try to play with our own assets. High technology, top quality, maximum teamwork, and a bit of northern magic. We are used to sailing on our thousands of lakes and in the beautiful archipelago where you need to be a real wizard to find the best wind and routes. This might be our secret to success since after 2000 we have won 22 championship medals, Olympic Gold, Silver and Bronze. We know we need to work a little smarter and harder in our colder conditions but that gives us that extra push and never give up attitude.
We are ranked as the happiest nation in the world and at the same time, we enjoy the silence of our country. But all the team members are proud to have “Sisu” in their blood and that means that we have the determination to do whatever it takes to get to the top.
Once we get our boat handling in shape we will start to use our northern magic and give all the other teams a good fight. Bring it on. We will be ready.
